Starting fires and other such fun.

This week I accidentally started a fire at work. The worst part about it? It was a toaster oven fire. Yes, you know the stupid ones that everyone (including The Office) has made fun of, because you really have to be doing something stupid to start it. This fire was not an exception to that rule.

At my current place of work, when we have one of our clients dogs die, we imprint their paws in clay. It's a nice way to remember them. Well, once we imprint the paw, we cook them in a toaster oven and send them to the client. Friday morning, I was cooking a clay paw print, like I usually do. The only problem was I forgot to double check all the settings. I guess someone had changed the heat setting from 350 degrees to 500 degrees. I sat it in the oven, turned the timer on and continued on with my work, as per usual. One of my coworkers happened to walk by it about 10 minutes later, and found the whole thing in flames! Needless to say, the section the oven was in was filled with smoke, and we had to vent the area. No one was hurt and nothing but the toaster oven was damaged. But I can tell you it was very embarrassing. Especially since most everyone in the building heard about it, and knew it was me

Lesson learned. ALWAYS CHECK ALL THE SETTINGS!!

Anyway... lets see what else is on my mind?! Hmmm... I leave for Utah again in 2 days! I am sooo excited for this trip! I get to see my family, go to my Best friends wedding, as well as meet my cousins new baby! I cant wait!
I also think I have officially got over all my boys I needed to get over! ( YAY ME!!) I now need a new crush though. I definitely think crushes are fun, and exciting and life can be kind of boring when you have no crushes! I am not too concerned about finding one too fast though, it's kind of nice not having any boy stress! :D I think I am climbing out of my rut, and I am excited to see what happens now!

I have decided to go fully organic in my eating. It's taking a while to switch over, but I am hoping in a few more weeks, I will no longer have any "junk food" in my house! I have noticed a huge difference in myself with just the little changes I have made so far. Life right now is full of endless possibilities and it just keeps getting better! :D

Well, that's all I have to say right now, as I still need to get to the gym and workout. :D

From my mind to yours!

My happiness blog.

So, I have had it brought to my attention that my last post was a depressing post. My goal for this post is to be 100 percent happy. So I am going to go through some things I am grateful for.

1. I am grateful for a Mom, Dad, brothers and sisters who love me unconditionally.

2. I am grateful to have a close relationship to my extended family, and that they love and support me through thick and thin.

3. I am grateful, and lucky to have THE best friends in the whole world. I am especially grateful that they will put up with my craziness, in all it's forms. :)

4. I am very lucky and grateful for a good job. Not only is it a great job, but I also have great coworkers who keep me laughing all day.

5. I am grateful to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

6. I am grateful to be in the best YSA branch anyone could ask for.

7. I am grateful that it is Friday, and that I survived this week.

8. I am grateful for my home teachers, their awesome lessons and their crazy need/want to serve me. ;)

9. I am grateful for the random things that happen with friends and coworkers, that manage to always put a smile on my face. No matter what kind of day I am having.

10. ( Don't hate!) I am grateful for Zumba! I am especially grateful to Allison for teaching me of the love of Zumba, and to Lisa for my current love.

11. I am grateful for both answered and unanswered prayers.

12. I am grateful for all the life lessons and experiences I have had in just this year. :)

There is many, many more, but that is all I am going to put for a variety of reasons. :)

That's all for now.

Live life and learn

Have you ever had one of those dreams where someone was chasing you and you were running as fast as you could, but no matter how hard you tried, or how much energy you exerted, you stayed in the same place? All you could do was panic and try. That is exactly how I feel right now in life. I want to move forward, and I am trying to move forward, but no matter how hard I try I don't move.
I have been looking into my life to see if maybe I can figure out why I am stalling so bad. I have found there are a few things that may be some of it.

One- I need to get over a certain boy. Ok, maybe more than just one boy, I have a few to get over. I have also decided that boys are the root of all evil. A lot of my problems seem to come from them...

Two- I really need to learn patience. I have always had a short fuse, and I swear Heavenly Father wants me to learn this very well before I can get out of this rut, or find myself another guy.

Three- Faith. I am way to stubborn to rely on anyone else for anything. I need to learn how to have more faith, and rely on the lord for guidance. I also need to lean on my friends a little more.

Well, there are more than those 3 but that is all I am sharing. Basically I have a lot of hard work ahead of me. :D It's not going to be easy, but I do know it will be worth it.

Well thats all my thoughts for now.

The Irony of love

The Irony of love is Loving the right person at the wrong time, having the wrong person when the time is right and finding out you love someone right after that person walks out of your life...
And sometimes, you think you're already over a person, but when you see them smile at you, you'll suddenly realize that you're just pretending to be over them just to ease the pain of knowing that they will never be yours again...
For some, they think that letting go is one way of expressing how much they love that person... in my opinion, some are afraid to see the one they love being held by someone else...
Most relationships tend to fail not because the absence of love. Love is always present. It's just that one was being loved too much and the other was being loved too little...
As we all know that the heart is the center of the body but it beats on the left. maybe that's the reason why the heart is not always right...
Most often we fall in love with the person we think we love but to only discover that for them we are just for passing time, while the one who truly loves us remains either a friend or a stranger...
So here's a piece of advice; Let go when you're hurting too much. Give up when love isn't enough. And move on when things are not like before...
It's certain... there is someone out there WHO WILL LOVE YOU EVEN MORE...

Lets go down to the Ozzdust ballroom, we'll meet there later tonight!

Wickedness is in the air... I can feel it! Oh wait just a tic-tock! It's just the musical Wicked!

This month I attended the Broadway show "Wicked". It was sooo amazing! I have been wanting to see it for a few years, and found out there was a showing of it in Tucson. So I got my friends together and drove to Tucson! It was fun! We ended up going pretty early due to President Obama being on the same Campus to give a speech, and we wanted to avoid traffic. It was fun though because we were about to walk around on their pretty campus and take pictures and just play around. The play was amazing, and well worth the hour and a half drive down to Tucson. My friend Jessica and I decided to dress up for the play. I went as Elphaba and she went as Glinda (the GA is silent!)

Earlier in this month we went to Phoenix first Friday. We rode the light rail from Tempe to downtown Phoenix and went to the Phoenix art museum. The art museum, is huge, and has a lot of really good displays! Jessica and I once again got together and decided to have a little fun. We went around the museum finding pictures and re-enacting them.

It was sooo much fun! In one section of the museum there is a display called "Fireflies". It is a dark mirrored room with lights on the floor and hanging so you feel like you walking in space or something! That was my favorite! I went through it twice, and really wished I could have just stayed in there!
The last section we went through we ended up getting in trouble for not "standing 6 inches away from the paintings" I think I may have been 5 inches... OOPS! My bad! Anyway, after that we left and rode the light rail back. We were playing a "would you rather" game that Jessica had in her purse and we watched a drunk and homeless guy without a ticket get kicked off. It was quite exciting! :D

Well I cant think of any other fun and exciting adventures for now. More to come soon, Im sure!

Snowboarding can be a pain in the butt (litterally!)

I went snowboarding today... lets just say, I have gotten good at always falling on my butt. I guess you could say that's an advantage, I mean at least i'm not "eating" snow. But then again, I think it would be easier if I could just, oh you know, stay up the whole time. I wanted to stay on the Bunny hill, but I was talked into going on a actual run. I was scared to death I was doing to do something going up the lift ( fall, get caught, ect) but amazingly that went fairly easy! I only wish it went that well on the run.

Like I said earlier, I fell a lot. I am pretty sure I would go about 5 feet and then freak out and fall. I'm not sure exactly how far I actually went before I gave up and took my board off, but I am pretty sure it was under a couple hundred feet. To add to the shame of not even making it down the hill on my board, I got taunted. A couple kids went by and were laughing at me, and a few kids on the lift hollered out " hey have fun WALKING!" and " you know its faster if you actually WEAR the board!" The whole run being ice didn't help a thing either. I admit I fell on my butt a few times WITHOUT the board while trying to walk down. I will plan on trying again someday, but I think I will stay on the bunny hills a little longer till I can actually stay up for more than 5 feet!

well thats all my thoughts for now!
~Merry Christmas all~

Sometimes, you can hurt yourself doing a downward dog....

So funny story!

Last night after work I did what I do every tuesday night after work. I went to my Zumba class then I went to Piyo afterwords. Well it had been a silly and exausting day at work... no litterally, like as in I had laughed myself to tears a few times over nothing! I was just way giggly... anyway, I apperently was more or less tense than usual, because I managed to hurt just about everything in Piyo last night.
We started class with even a better stretch and warm up than usual and then jumped right into the tree, Warrior 1 and 2 poses, and then we dropped into Plank and up into downward dog. Normally this isn't really very hard, but for whatever reason as we moved into downward dog My shoulder pinched a little. Needless to say...I woke up this morning feeling more like I had been hit by a train then doing a silly Piyo class. Dont worry though, All I feel now is a little sore (like usual):D
moving on!

So far this week really hasnt been too bad! Monday night for FHE we went and saw the Mesa Temple lights and "holiday show" I really didnt pay too much attention to the show cause I was having a bad ADHD night. I think I acted more like I was 10 years old. It was bad (but really fun!)I dont think anyone around me even got to see much of the show cause I was boucing around and chatting! The lights were so pretty! After the show we walked around and took pictures it was fun!

I have pretty much told you all about my tuesday but today, Oh today, was fun! I went and got my oil changed at walmart (My little Ella is so happy right now!) She was really in need of a oil change! Tonight I went to the new Harry Potter movie! I went with a few friends from the ward. It was my second time watching it and I really enjoyed that movie! I seriously want a deathly hollows necklace now though. I think that story is cool! So... right in the middle of the movie a random guy walked into the movie, walked to the other side of the room with a clipboard and stood there for a minute, then walked to the other side of the room and stood there and then walked out... not sure what he was doing. My guess was he was counting all 10 people in the theater. :P
This Saturday I am really excited to go to a Zumbathon! its going to be so much fun, AND its for charity!! YAY!
well thats my thoughts for now!

Over and out!
